Mutnovsky surpasses even its restless neighbor Gorely in volcanic activity having erupted more than fifteen times in the last 150 years. Fumaroles from Mutnovsky’s large craters are extensive, constant, and on clear days are visible from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
