TOUR NAME: EXCURSION TO A DACHA WITH TEA (RUSSIAN SUMMER CABIN)
DURATION: (HOURS) 3
RATE ADULT: 45 EURO
RATE CHILD: 45 EURO
Tour Descripton: Traditionally Russians have summer cabins called dachas. It's not just a place for weekends or summer vacations. At their dachas Russian people build green houses for growing tomatoes, cucumbers and pepper. Besides, they grow such vegetables as potatoes, carrots and beetroot in the open ground. Almost every family grows strawberries. That practice goes back to the times of the Soviet Union when our population had problems with buying fruits and vegetables due to permanent deficit and bad quality caused by the absence of normal storage conditions. In the past people built dacha houses themselves. Nowadays those who are rich enough can afford to hire a construction company or independent individuals. Some of dacha houses look like cottages and are good for living at any season. All houses are equipped with electricity and almost all with plumbing. Every year in Spring Russian people who have dachas come there to plant and in Fall to harvest. Usually the results of work allow them not to buy such agricultural products during the whole year. You have a chance to see a small farmstead, talk to people and of course a traditional Russian tea is offered. On the way to a dacha you can enjoy beautiful countryside scenery and listen to a guide's information about dachas in Kamchatka.

TOUR NAME: SUMMER EXCURSION TO THE KENNEL
DURATION: (HOURS) 4
RATE ADULT: 90 EURO
RATE CHILD: 90 EURO
Tour Descripton: This tour presents a unique opportunity to enjoy Kamchatka nature and countryside. You'll visit country resort complex. The complex is located in a picturesque valley with the view of magnificent Koryak and Avacha volcanoes. Originally the complex served as a kennel for the Kamchatka Sled Dogs. It is a great chance to see the process of feeding these beautiful mighty animals, to get some information about the sledge and its equipment, to see the way the dogs are harnessed and their work with the wheel sledge. For natural phenomena, Kamchatka takes a special place among the rich and extraordinary places of the world: mountains, active and dormant volcanoes, geysers, vast valleys and lowlands, fast rivers with rapids, waterfalls and lakes made by tundra, estuary, glacier and lava. The vegetation is quite different of that growing in other regions on the Northwest Pacific Coast. The stems of giant grasses covering the big areas all summer through can reach more than 3 meters in height, many of them are edible. Our guides offer a walk around in the vicinities to enjoy a gulp of fresh forest air, nature beauty of Kamchatka and to obtain some interesting information about Kamchatka nature features. The abundance of different kinds of wild berries is amazing. Together with berries well known both in Siberia and North America, like blueberries, cranberries, raspberries, arctic bramble and others, there is a particular species called Kamchatka honeysuckle. The predominant tree on the peninsula is the stone birch - a unique species that can be found only in Kamchatka. The fauna of Kamchatka represents about forty species of mammals, and little more than two hundred bird species. Some species occur in unusually large numbers. For instance, the population of brown bears on Kamchatka, about 10,000 individuals, is the largest in Russia, and the bear itself is smaller only than the Aleutian Kodiak bear and the North American grizzly. Foxes and sables thrive in the forests. The Kamchatka snow sheep can be observed also. There is a great number of hares, ermines, and ground squirrels; the ground squirrel is a rodent closely related to the marmot. Steller's sea eagle is the largest bird in Kamchatka. Swans and falcons, waterfowl and ptarmigan are also present in considerable numbers. You will be able to enjoy the variety of wild birds in the tundra that is located by just a 15 minutes walk from the complex. The spot abounds in with small rivers and little swamps that are very good for bird's nesting. A comfortable and cozy lodge will be at your service during the full duration of the tour. You will be offered a lunch buffet with traditional Russian soup called "borsch", fried salmon and traditional Russian pancakes with home made jam and honey. While enjoying lunch you will be offered the Koryak folkdance performance.

TOUR NAME: KAMCHATKA NALYCHEVO HOT SPRINGS
DURATION: (HOURS) 6
RATE ADULT: 404 EURO

Tour Description: Depart the pier by motor coach for the short transfer to the Heli Pad. After a brief safety instruction your helicopter will fly to the Nalychevo Nature Park. Nalychevo Nature Park is the reservation of untouched nature and located in the picturesque valley of the Nalycheva River. On the territory of more than 300.000 hectares there are a lot of unique places. We offer you a unique chance to go to the Nalychevo nature park by helicopter. Nalychevo springs are the biggest thermal carbonic acid springs in Kamchatka located between Goryachaya and Zholtaya rivers at square more than 2 square km. At the foot of the Kruglaya Mountain there are deposits of springs creating a big traverse plate of more than 50 000 square km with dome, which consists of carbonic and chalybeate-arsenic deposits (dome was called "boiler"). Along the plate a lot of hot springs come out forming a brook. Around the dome there are thermal swamps. Along the river Goryachaya some outlets of thermal water forming short hot streams fall into the cold river, shallow lakes, puddles and swamps. A great colony of thermophilic aquatic plants grows on the water surface forming multicolored dense pillows. The same springs are located at the river Zholtaya (600m from mouth). Four chinks stretching boiler to the Goryachaya river were built in 1955, and one of them is active till now. About 100 thermal springs with temperature from 14 till 75'C are in this group. Their visible debit is about 80 l/sec. together with selfoutpouring of chinks of 110 l/sec. Waters of Nalychevo springs are one of the seldom hydro chemical types containing carbonic acid, arsenic, boric, siliceons chloride-sodium-calcium with medium mineralization. Springs differ one from another by their degree of dilute with superficial cold waters. They are weak-acid or weak-alkaline (pH 5,9-7,8) with general mineralization from 3,7 to 12 grams per liter and contain a lot of seldom elements (iodine, arsenic, boron, and others). The same elements can be found in sediment (in high concentration). A walk around, swimming and lunch will be offered at the park.
